HPC needles are designed with custom fittings specifically engineered for JUVEDERM® syringes, ensuring a secure, reliable connection during every injection. This precise interface minimizes the risk of leakage, prevents hub pop-offs, and maintains an optimal flow rate for high-viscosity dermal fillers. By providing a stable connection and clear alignment, practitioners can perform seamless, controlled procedures with greater confidence. Larger inner diameter with TSKiD™ Technology
HPC needles feature TSKiD™ Max barrels, incorporating advanced TSKiD™ technology to maximize flow and injection efficiency. These specially engineered needle barrels have enlarged inner diameters, allowing thicker or particulate-laden products to pass through more smoothly with reduced injection force. TSKiD™ technology is available in Standard, Large, and Max variations, providing flexibility for different treatment needs. For example, a 30G HPC needle with TSKiD™ Max barrels can achieve an inner diameter up to 65% larger than the ISO standard. This larger inner diameter not only improves the ease of injection but also ensures precise and consistent filler placement, reducing tissue trauma and enhancing patient comfort.

 

Advanced hub geometry
Dermal fillers often contain high-viscosity formulations or small particulate matter, making injections more challenging. HPC needles address this with a wider internal hub geometry, allowing smoother product flow and minimizing resistance during injection. In addition, the HPC hub is designed to be shorter than the PRC hub, providing a more compact and ergonomic system that is easier to handle during detailed procedures. This combination of wider internal flow and reduced hub length ensures precise delivery of high-viscosity fillers, making procedures more efficient and controlled.

 

External 360 hub threading
The HPC “advanced hub” also incorporates external 360-degree threading, which creates a tighter luer lock connection between syringe and needle. This feature prevents accidental hub pop-offs even under high-pressure injections, maintaining a secure and reliable connection. For practitioners, this ensures that the needle remains stable and fully functional during delicate procedures, reducing the risk of interruptions, leaks, or misplacement of filler material.

 

Hard polymer hub
